It’s absolutely incredible.

For 364 days of the year, my cell phone will barely ring. My house phone almost never rings anymore.

For 364 days of the year, I count myself as hardly a consideration in the lives of those whom I call friends and family.

And yet… the one New Year’s Eve in the past century that I decide to go out, my cell phone is ringing off the hook!

Here’s to 2020.
